About Us

Gaynor Telesystems Since 1974

Some companies simply sell phones. At Gaynor Telesystems, we bring decades of experience across telephone, video, data, and security solutions.

Since 1974

Our History

Founded in 1974 by E.A. "Gus" Gaynor to serve the communications needs of the Redding business community, Gaynor Telesystems has grown from a single-location telephone systems provider into a full-service technology partner with multiple offices throughout Northern California and select nationwide clients.

Now in its second generation of family ownership, the company has welcomed two key team members as shareholders, ensuring strong, consistent leadership for years to come.

Our capabilities have expanded well beyond traditional phone systems. Today, Gaynor Telesystems delivers integrated solutions across VoIP, unified communications, CCTV, access control, and school clock and bell systems — a single source for all your voice, video, and security needs.

We've been at the forefront of technology in the region since the beginning, from introducing fax technology to Northern California in the early 1980s as an authorized Ricoh distributor, to bringing voice processing to the area for the first time.

Some companies simply sell phones. At Gaynor, we bring decades of experience across telephone, video, data, and security.

That pioneering spirit continues today as we help clients modernize with IP-based communications and security platforms — working with your budget to design a solution that's the right fit.
